Developer sustainability intelligence
Measure the impact of every feature you ship.
Codensity connects software execution to compute, energy, and carbon without changing how your team builds.

Platform
One platform, four ways to act on it
Attribution is the foundation. Everything downstream - budgets, deploy gates, customer proof - runs on the same measured data.
Attribution
Every trace resolves to a feature
Map every compute unit to the endpoint, feature flag, or job that requested it, then convert to energy and carbon using live regional grid intensity.
Trust Page
Prove your footprint to customers
A white-labeled, embeddable page showing methodology and live numbers - hand it to procurement or drop it in your docs.

0.41 gCO2e / request · updated hourly
Budgets & Alerting
Set a threshold, get paged before it breaks
Real-time rules on carbon, energy, or compute. When a budget trips, Slack and PagerDuty hear about it in seconds.
#eng-alerts recs-v2 is at 86% of its weekly carbon budget.
Integrations
Block the deploy before the carbon ships
A required GitHub Actions check that fails the PR when a change regresses past your budget - not just an alert after the fact.
See what a deploy actually costs
Explore the consoleCarbon per deploy
gCO2e · v4.2.0 → v4.3.0 · 7d
Summary emissions per deploy dropped 34% after query batching shipped in v4.3.0.
Regional carbon intensity
gCO2e/kWh · 6 regions · live
- eu-north-141
- eu-west-1168
- us-west-2207
- us-east-1379
Summary shifting batch jobs to eu-north-1 would cut their footprint by up to 89%.
Methodology
Built on sampled traces, not estimates
Attribution runs on sampled traces at production scale, so overhead stays under one percent of request time. Figures use market-based emission factors by default, with location-based available per workspace.
Read the full methodologyQuery batching in search.query removed 46 kgCO2e per week at equal throughput.
Measurement over messaging
Every figure traces to a published coefficient and a time range. Open any number and the arithmetic is there.

Pricing
Priced by services measured, not seats
Every plan reads the same grid data. What changes is how much of your fleet you can attribute, and how far back you can look.

Team stops ingesting once the monthly event limit is reached. Growth and Enterprise treat it as a soft cap and keep ingesting past it. Retention is the window raw metrics stay queryable for; hourly and daily aggregates are kept beyond it.
